Card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored by Salvy. The digest itself uses public data from The Gazette and Companies House, not your personal information.
We process your details to send the newsletter you asked for, authenticate your account, schedule and prepare for consultations, review website enquiries, prepare quotes, contact you about the requested service, prevent abuse, and fulfil existing payments. Newsletter processing is based on consent. Enquiry, account, and service processing is necessary to respond to your request and for our legitimate interests in operating and securing Salvy.
When you request a savings review, we store your name, work email, company name and message to respond and arrange the next step. This does not subscribe you to marketing emails. Please do not submit bills or sensitive contract details through this form. The separate private savings workspace has its own document handling information, which you should review before uploading.
We use a small number of service providers to run Salvy:
We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or pass it to data brokers. For The Salvy Report, subscriber emails are not sent to our AI analysis provider; only public notice data is analysed. This statement does not describe document analysis in the separate savings workspace.
We keep newsletter details while you remain subscribed and account records while your account or a paid service is active. Booking details and website enquiries are kept while we respond and for a reasonable period afterwards to manage follow-up and business records. Used and expired sign-in tokens are retained for a limited period for security. Transaction and historical listing records may be retained where needed for legal, accounting, fraud prevention, or dispute purposes. If you unsubscribe, we retain a minimal record to honour that request.

Salvy uses a strictly necessary, signed session cookie to keep you signed in for up to 30 days. We do not use advertising cookies or analytics by default. You can clear the session by signing out or deleting browser cookies.
If you accept optional analytics, we measure public pages viewed, link and button destinations, example expansions, device categories and broad referral categories. We record form submission attempts without their contents. A random browser identifier resets daily. We do not collect names, email addresses, IP addresses, search queries or form values in this analytics system. These counts cover consenting browsers, not all visitors or identifiable people.
Analytics is hosted with our website on Render. Event records and dashboard reports are retained for up to 90 days. Aggregate daily reports are emailed privately to the Salvy owner. We also count actual newsletter subscriptions, unsubscriptions and review enquiries to operate the service; these are separate from optional browsing analytics.
Your analytics preference is stored in your browser for 90 days. You can decline without affecting the service and change your choice below. Withdrawing consent stops future measurement on this browser and removes its analytics identifier.
We may update this policy occasionally. The date at the top will change when we do. Continued subscription after an update means you accept the revised policy.
